Calling all Nxgen & Nowgen: A Workshop for Reflective Experiential Learning and Leadership Insights

All 21st century CEOs need to be entrepreneurial leaders because of the dynamic external and internal eco-systems driven by social and demographic, technology, economic, political and planet forces. The challenge is understanding your entrepreneurial behaviors and mind set and how you can make your strengths a part of your innovation behaviors. This workshop demonstrates your entrepreneurial tendencies and explores how you can make entrepreneurial thinking a part of the leadership toolkit.

This one-day workshop by Professor Randel S. Carlock and Ms Keng-Fun Loh, explores the family enterprise leader's role as a career opportunity and for personal and professional leadership development. The workshop is experiential to explore new insights, and personal reflection to understand both your development to be the family enterprise leader, and how you create more rewarding and satisfying careers.

Being the leader of your family enterprise can be an incredible journey filled with rewarding career and personal experiences that are unique to each individual and the family enterprise they lead. Instead of best practices, this workshop is taught using real-world learning activities including exercises and online assessments, class discussions, mini lectures, small group work, readings, and personal reflection. The most important outcome is your reflection and developing new insights on how your values, aspirations, skills, and behaviors will influence your career.

In addition to the workshop, there will be a pre-workshop networking dinner.

The Robertson House by The Crest Collection

The workshop will be held at The Robertson House by The Crest Collection, where colonial charm meets modern luxury along the historic Singapore River. The hotel takes pride in honouring Dr. J. Murray Robertson and Singapore's quayside heritage, with narratives weaved into every nook and corner of the architecture. The Singapore River runs alongside the hotel, an iconic landmark reminiscent of Singapore's past as a busy entrepôt port in the 19th century.
